Research Area: High Performance Computing and Bioinformatics


Yun Xu received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, in 2002. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Computer Science of USTC, a member of National High Performance Computing Center at Hefei, and also the supervisor of PhD students under the collaboration scheme between City University of Hong Kong and USTC. At present, he is an IEEE member and an ACM member. Yun Xu received over 10 research grants, which are supported by National Natural Foundation of China(NSFC), National High Technology Research and Development Program, Intel and Huawei. And he has authored or coauthored more than 50 papers in academic journals and conferences.
