Ye Tian is currently an associate professor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He received his Pd.D. degree in Computer Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2007, the Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Science and Technology of China in 2004, and the Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China in 2001. From Aug. 2010 to June 2011, he visited the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Before joining USTC in 2008, he worked as a post doctoral research associate in Howard University from Feb. 2008 to Aug. 2008. He is member of IEEE, IEEE Computer Society and CCF.


Ye Tian’s has been working in research areas including Internet Measurement, Peer-to-Peer Networks and Wireless Ad-hoc Networks. He has been granted 6 research projects. He has published over 20 papers in refereed journals and conferences, including IEEE Trans. on Parallel and Distributed Systems and IEEE INFOCOM.
